Getting Registered with Glogster

 

1) Click here to get registered on Glogster.

2) Write down the Teacher/Educator code as the following:  6246D8

​

3) Write down your username as your Novell username

​

4) Write down your password as your Novell password

​

5) Give your first name and last name when asked to do so.

​

Creating a Glog

​

1) Click the green button that says Create New Glog at the top of the page.

​

2) Select a template. You will be able to make changes to the template, so don't worry if you

    don't like some of the design elements of the template.

​

Adding Things to Your Blog or Making Changes

​

1) Click on the + sign at the top left-hand side to make any changes or to add anything to

    your Glog.

 

2) Wall--for changing the background. You can select a background from the gallery. Another

    option is to click on Search Images and click on the image you like to insert it in your glog.

    Then, click on the green button that says Use It to add it to your blog. You can also find an

    image online, save it to your K drive, and click on the upload symbol to upload to My

    Images to use as your background. Then, click on the image and click on Use It.

3) Images--One option is to click on Search Images and click on the image you like to insert it

    in your glog. Then, click on the green button that says Use It to add it to your glog. You can

    also find an image online, save it to your K drive folder, and click on the upload symbol to

    upload to My Images. Then, click on the image and click on Use It.

4) Graphics--Make sure you click on the graphics to see what kind of graphics are available

    that might be relevant to your subject. The graphics are categorized by discipline. If your

    topic was a scientist, be sure to check out the Science graphics. If your person lived along

    time ago, check out the History graphics. When you see one you like, click on it and then

    click on the green Use It button.

5) Videos--Click on Youtube to search for videos relevant to your topic. When you find a good

    one, click on it and then select Use It.

​

6) Audio--Find an audio file from  freesound.org . After you've registered on the website with

    your Parkway Google account, save the audio file you like to your K drive folder. Then, click

    on Audio on your glog, click on the Upload symbol and upload your sound file. Then, select

    the sound file and click on Use It. 

​

7) Text--Click on any of the subject categories, and then you can just insert a normal text box

    by clicking on Paragraph, or to create a Title, you can click on Title. Or you can insert a

    textbox with a fancy frame or text bubble around it. Click on what you want to use & select

    Use It.

​

Save each time you finish working on your glog!!!
